From Listing to Load-Out: How REB Supports Buyers End-to-End

Purchasing commercial kitchen equipment at auction should feel like a strategic victory, not a logistical headache. Yet for many buyers, the excitement of winning a bid can quickly fade when faced with the complexities of inspection, payment, and transportation. That’s where Restaurant Equipment.Bid makes all the difference.

At Restaurant Equipment Bid (REB), we’ve built our entire process around empowering you, the buyer. Our support doesn’t end when you win an auction, it extends through every critical step, ensuring a smooth, transparent, and successful transaction from the moment you see a listing to the moment the equipment is in your hands.

Here’s how we guide you through the complete journey:

Phase 1: The Auction Stage

The foundation of a good purchase is clear information. We eliminate guesswork before you even place a bid.

  • Detailed Listings, Not Just Photos: Every item features photographs from multiple angles, highlighting condition, brand labels, and any visible wear. We pair this with thorough descriptions, including make, model, serial numbers, and dimensions.
  • Transparent Condition Reports: We believe in “what you see is what you get.” Our listings are honest about functionality, noting if an item is in working order, needs repair, or is for parts.

Phase 2: Bidding & Buying

We’ve streamlined the auction process to be intuitive and fair, whether you’re a seasoned pro or a first-time buyer.

  • A User-Friendly Platform: Our website is designed for easy browsing, searching, and bidding. Set maximum bids and explore our wide range of active auctions across the country.
  • Clear Terms & No Hidden Fees: All auction terms, buyer premiums, and sales tax information are clearly published. We are required to collect sales tax for all applicable sales. If you believe you are entitled to an exemption from New York State sales tax, please complete the appropriate form and email it to info@restaurantequipment.bid.
  • Preview Items: Each auction will have information on whether a preview day is available. If there is a specified preview time, you may preview auction items only during this time, no exceptions.
  • Immediate Post-Auction Clarity: You can check to see if you’re the high bidder by viewing your bidder profile or clicking the review bids button located at the bottom of each auction. Additionally, we will send your invoice by e-mail within a couple of hours after the auction closes with a list of the items you have won.
  • On-Site Support & Assistance: Our friendly warehouse staff are there on load-out days to help you locate your lots, answer questions, and ensure you’re collecting the correct equipment.
  • Shipping:  Shipping is not provided by RestaurantEquipment.Bid. Please note, we offer palletization at certain locations for a fee (Check the auction details for further details). We offer palletization services at the following locations:
  • Romulus, New York
  • Orlando, Florida
  • Arlington, Texas
  • Baldwin Park, California

Customers of RestaurantEquipment.Bid may use any freight carrier that they deem acceptable. Please note, RestaurantEquipment.Bid is not affiliated with any freight companies and shipping expenses are to be paid by the customer.

The REB Difference: A Partner, Not Just a Platform

What truly sets REB apart is our commitment to being a true partner in your success. We understand that the equipment you buy is vital to your business’s operation. Our end-to-end support is designed to de-risk the auction process, saving you time, money, and stress.

We’re not just facilitating a sale; we’re helping you build, expand, or upgrade your kitchen with confidence.
